In our commitment to fostering a global network of education researchers, the Department of Education at Korea University invites academics to participate in our guest research program. This opportunity allows scholars around the world to collaborate with our professors, pursue joint publications, and immerse themselves in Korean cultural dynamics.
Interested applicants should reach out to at least one professor in our department. Please submit a two-page statement detailing the research project you plan to work on during your stay and the anticipated outcomes of your visit to Korea University. Guest researchers are also expected to present their work as part of our department colloquium series.
Visits typically range from one week to three months. Extended stay can be arranged upon request.
Guest researchers will be provided with:
• An office, a personal computer with basic software, Internet access, printer, telephone, and basic office supplies.
• Assistance with in-campus accommodation bookings from our BK office.
• Welcome and social lunches to interact with our faculty members.
Eligibility requirements:
• Cover all expenses related to their stay at Korea University, including, but not limited to, health insurance for themselves and any accompanying dependents.
• Obtain the necessary visa and arrange their travel to Korea University, Korea.
• Cover the costs of their travel and accommodation, and living expenses during their visit.
• Be proficient in English.
