Welcome to the homepage of the BK21 Four R&E Center for Education at Korea University. This is Mimi Bong, the head of the Triple-A Future Education Research Center. The BK21 Four R&E Center for Education at Korea University has been conducting the BK project since 2006, when the second phase of the BK project started. In 2006, Korea University's Department of Education ranked 3rd in the domestic department rankings and did not even enter the world rankings, and the total number of professors in the department was only 8. While participating in the BK project, the Department of Education at Korea University has made remarkable progress. The number of faculty has increased to 15, including one foreign scholar, and the ranking in the field of education is also ranked first in Korea and entered in the QS and Times Higher Education world rankings. In 2020, it is ranked 59th in the Times Higher Education world ranking, and all professors in the department are participating in this BK21 Four project (2020-2027). The BK21 Four R&E Center for Education at Korea University is not satisfied with this and is preparing to jump from the current world ranking of 50 to 30 through the BK21 Four project.

The BK21 Four R&E Center for Education in the Department of Education at Korea University is aiming to cultivate researchers who pursue excellence on the basis of equity. To this end, we will cultivate the spirit of "equity, consideration, practice, science and technology", the core values of future education, through basic common courses. In addition, we plan to offer "Crimson Educational Living Lab (CELL)" courses, to fill the gap between theory and practice, a chronic disease of graduate school education, and to enhance social problem solving skills. Furthermore, we will hold the "Korea University Research in Education (KURE) Seminar" to cultivate an interdisciplinary convergence mindset among graduate students of various majors in the Department of Education. Through these systematic programs, the BK21 Four R&E Center for Education will take on a leading role to internationalize graduate school education programs in Korea and will promote the BK project with national and social prid
